Pearl Kaufman Milch, 88, of Boca Raton, passed away April 7 after an extended illness. Born February 22, 1927 in New York City, she graduated from Brooklyn College and worked in the radio industry before moving to Fort Lauderdale in her early 20s. She married Herbert F. Milch in 1953. She was an active volunteer in the Broward County public schools her children attended and served as director of the Fort Lauderdale Civic Ballet Company for several years. She was an avid tennis player, captaining her team in Boca Raton for many years, until she “retired” from the game at age 81. Bridge was another favorite hobby, and she continued to play with a close group of friends until just a few months ago. She is survived by her husband Herbert F. Milch; son, Eric M. Milch (Stephanie); daughter, Lisa M. Goddard (Andy); grandchildren Kelly Henderson (John), Christopher Milch, Jamie Rodgers (Chris), Evan Milch and Elijah Milch; great grandson Pace Henderson; brother Murray Kaufman (Lila), nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
